| About Shikata Learning Community (Shikata LC) |
From the 2025 academic year, Shikata Learning Community will be further enhanced and operated as a space for interaction between Japanese and international students, as well as a base station for community engagement and multicultural collaborative learning activities. In addition to the existing Japanese language classes for international students, we will offer multilingual lessons for Japanese students, seminars on various social welfare activities in the community from a healthcare perspective, and fieldwork experiences throughout Okayama Prefecture where students can engage directly with local residents. We will also provide opportunities for seminars and presentations conducted in English. These initiatives are designed to allow Japanese and international students to participate together, making the most of the unique features of the Shikata Campus.
Please have a look at the various projects we actively organize.
