GLOBALIZED VOICES PARTNERS – LANGUAGE & CULTURAL EXCHANGE

GVP 10 WEEKS/PROGRAM

Over 10 weeks, international and Japanese students met weekly to exchange 30 minutes of Japanese and 30 minutes of English. Beyond language practice, they shared stories about daily life, traditions, and culture in their home countries.

GVP SHORT PROGRAM

Shikata LC also offers a short version of the GVP program. If you are a Japanese and/or international student who would like to learn basic Japanese conversation skills, or if you already have an intermediate or advanced level in Japanese or English and would like to improve your skills or use them in a practical setting, please feel free to contact us: zulearias@okayama-u.ac.jp

Shikata Learning community has been hosting the Globalized Voices Partners Program .Over the past 10 weeks, an international student and a Japanese student paired up to exchange English and Japanese language, culture, and friendship . During this time, they he lped each other improve their language skills and learned a lot about each other’s countries.On Friday, February 6th (18:30) they would like to share what they have learned about their partner’s country. The International student presented in Japanese and the Japanese student did it in English. This was a wonderful opportunity to see their progress and enjoy a cross-cultural experience, thanks so much for coming and joining us!
