- X-Mas & Ema Fusion Party at L- Café in Shikata Campus
Date and Time: December 19 (Fri.), 17:30 START
Venue: Shikata Campus Medical Research Archives 3F L-Commons

On December 19th, L Café at Shikata Campus hosted the X-mas & Ema Fusion Party. Students from Japan, China, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Ghana, along with professors and administrative staff, participated in the event to promote international exchange and support the SDGs. In line with the SDGs, we recycled a discarded tree trunk and decorated it as a Christmas tree during the party. This activity promoted sustainable living by reducing waste and protecting nature. After self-introductions, students shared explanations of their Christmas and Ema traditions. They then created decorations and origami cranes, wrote their New Year’s wishes on cards, and enjoyed a gift exchange and potluck together. Students experienced a warm and harmonious environment, exchanging both traditions and cultures, and fostering global understanding.
