Activity Reports (2026 Academic Year)

CROCHET & CHAT

On August 7, Japanese and international students from the Medical , Dental Schools the Faculty of Health Science, came together at Shikata Learning Community for our Crochet & Chat activity! We have guests from Japan, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Mexico and China. 

Students were united by a shared hobby: crochet! Some participants were already experienced, while others were trying crochet for the very first time. Our experienced students kindly taught beginners step by step, making it a wonderful opportunity to learn from each other and make new connections. 

While crocheting, everyone enjoyed chatting, exchanging ideas, and sharing some delicious snacks. The combination of creativity, conversation, and mutual support created a warm, relaxing, and positive atmosphere.

Crochet & Chat showed us that a simple hobby can bring people from different backgrounds together.
