SCHOOL DAY TRIP TO OSAFUNE SWORD MUSEUM, SHIZUTANI SCHOOL, AMATSU SHRINE, FUKUSOJI TEMPLE

On February 15th, students from Okayama University — including participants from Japan, Sudan, Costa Rica, Turkey, El Salvador, China, and Brazil — experienced the heart of Japanese culture. They visited the Osafune Sword Museum, Shizutani School, Amatsu Shrine, and Fukushoji Temple. The students not only enjoyed traditional Japanese sightseeing but also learned an important cultural lesson: by listening to the sound of the flames during sword forging, they experienced the importance of being patient, appreciating harmony, and paying attention to nature — lessons that reflect how patience and mindfulness are essential for shaping a bright future.
