Our major research subject is the biology of cartilage, which generates bones. Bone is a tissue that supports our body, holds our teeth and stores calcium. During our development, our skeleton is initially formed as cartilage, which is replaced by bone tissues along with growth. We are investigating what is happening, which genes and molecules are working therein with innovating research technologies, aiming at cartilage regeneration and skeletal growth control.
