To address various medical issues facing our modern-day society, we need to have a wide range of knowledge and experience about public health as well as epidemiology. Further, a global perspective is also required to navigate today’s inter-connected and inter-dependent world. With the motto of “We contribute to people’s life with epidemiology”, we conduct our research in the fields of medicine in Japan and overseas. We aim to develop research-minded medical professionals needed to address public health issues, in corporation with medical institutions and municipal organizations.
