Fine Organic Synthesis
Professor: Daisuke Sawada
C-H activation reaction is one of the most interactive methods in recent organic synthesis. However, developments of the site selective C-H activation reactions are still challenge. We aim to develop site selective C-H activation reaction and to apply to the efficient synthesis of biologically active compounds. We focused on the synthesis and physical elucidation of π-electron molecules. In this area, we aim to make new class of bright emission and colorful π-electron molecules, search its new function. Based on the fundamental chemical research, we challenge to develop the medical materials and molecular sensors.
