Malaria, a tropical infectious disease that causes multidrug resistance, is widespread and the development of new drugs is required. In our laboratory, we study the new antimalarial drug development research overcome the multi-drug resistant P. falciparum using in vitro and P. berghei in vivo system, mechanism analysis of the candidates and we will choose final candidates that are safe for humans. We are also study on drug development research for other tropical infectious diseases too.
