We are conducting clinical research that contributes to the “individualization” of prevention and treatment. In basic and observational studies using cultured cell and tissue samples, we are exploring the individualization of drug treatment by considering the expression levels of various molecules related to pharmacokinetics in cancer tissue. On the other hand, in intervention studies with participants, we are trying to establish clinically useful methods to improve mild physical abnormalities prior to the occurrence of cerebro/cardiovascular events using foods and supplements containing functional ingredients.
