Regenerative Science
Professor: TAKARADA Takeshi
We are engaged in research utilising human induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells to investigate the regeneration and repair of musculoskeletal tissues, as well as to elucidate the origins and mechanisms of sarcoma development. By employing differentiation methods that mimic developmental processes, we have successfully induced cells from iPS cells that closely resemble their in vivo counterparts. Leveraging these technologies alongside bioinformatics (data science) approaches, we aim to contribute to advancements in regenerative medicine and cancer therapy.
