We are studying the mechanisms of viral replication and pathogenicity of various viruses including bornavirus, hepatitis B virus, and herpesvirus. Based on these understandings, we are developing treatments for viral infections and beneficial applications of viruses. In addition, through these virus researches, we aim to discover new biological phenomena that can spread to other life sciences and to create new values.
