We develop biomaterials necessary for those aims, apply regenerative medicine, and conduct clinical research. For example, we are studying tooth regeneration as an organ, bone (bone marrow) regeneration using rhBMP-2, regeneration of attached gingiva, periodontal ligament, and dentin, and immunotolerance mechanism induced by mesenchymal stem cells.
