Our mission is to cultivate physician-scientists and specialized clinicians equipped to confront the infectious diseases that threaten humanity. Guided by this, our vision is to establish and continually advance Okayama University as the premier infectious disease research center in Japan.<br \/>\nIn our research endeavors, we focus on genomic analysis of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), Data Science, and the clinical application of Digital Technologies (DX). Furthermore, we are dedicated to the Research and Development of preventive and therapeutic strategies for a wide variety of infectious diseases, contributing to the realization of a One Health approach.<br \/>\nIn the realm of education, we promote a seamless curriculum within the horizontally and vertically integrated framework of the medical school.
